Board News: Shpanin, Webber, and Webersen

Please join us in congratulating three Board members on their upcoming exhibition news:

  • Stass Shpanin '12 (Corporator, Class of 2024) has been participating in the Ria Keburia Foundation Artist Residency in the spectacular landscapes of Kachreti, Georgia (the country, not the state!). As part of the residency, he worked on generating a new series of large drawings that will be shown in a two-person exhibition with artist Ben Snell titled Mining the Form at Delaware Contemporary, on view from September 8 through the end of the year. There will be an opening reception on Fri. September 8 from 5–9pm. 

  • Each quarter, UConn Health selects two artists to exhibit in their Celeste LeWitt Gallery at the UConn Health Café, and this fall, will feature Linda Webber M'67 (Corporator, Class of 2024) and Anna Webersen (Trustee, First Term 2025)! See Along the Way by Linda Webber, the former UConn Health art curator (now retired), and The Hullabaloo by Anna Webersen, now through November 16, 2023, with a public reception on Thurs. Sept. 14 from 4:30–6pm. Also, worth noting that the exhibition was arranged by one of our newest Board members and UConn health curator, Andre Rochester (Corporator, Class of 2028)!
